MB: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the C2W World Championship. In this contest, the first competitor to score a pinfall or submission will be crowned the new champion. And the reigning champion does not have to be pinned or submit in order for the title to change hands.
*Charlie Haas' music plays*
MB:Introducing first, one of two challengers, Charlie Haas!
TR: I've heard great things about this kid. Technically, he's the real deal.
BM: Let's see if that technical skill will allow him to walk out of here with gold around his waist.
*Cody Rhode's music plays*
MB: Making his way to the ring, the challenger, Cody Rhodes!
BM: The official is already having a difficult time keeping these guys apart.
TR: The championship gold is one of the biggest motivators in this industry. Nothing is going to stop these young bucks from obtaining it.
*Chris Jericho's music plays*
BM: Unless we're talking about this man!
MB: And the champion!...
MB: Y2J, Chris Jericho!
TR: Jericho was able to steal one at Royal Rumble and defeated Lawler and the Undertaker to become the company's second World Champion.
BM: Oh!
BM: Speaking of stealing and underhanded tricks. Cody just got one over on Jericho who was boasting that championship belt out on the apron.
TR: Watch your back at all times. Haas rocks Cody with a solid right.
BM: Haas is on the offensive.
BM: Irish whip...
TR: Cody fights back with a flying forearm!
BM: That's got to hurt.
TR: You're a great commentator, Captain Obvious.
*bell rings*
BM: Oh! Jericho just rung Cody's bell with that title.
TR: It's not only a flashy accessory. it's a weapon!
BM: Now that all competitors have entered the ring, this match is officially underway.
BM: Jericho turns his attention to Charlie Haas.
BM: Irish whip into the corner.
TR: Perfect form! Great dropkick from Jericho.
BM: Charlie is trying to shake the cobwebs loose.
BM: Jericho connects with a bulldog!
TR: I've been hit with plenty of those and let me tell you, they don' feel great.
BM: Wait, look! Cody is headed to the top rope.
BM: Flying Forward dropkick!
BM: No, Jericho catches him in mid-air!
TR: The Walls of Jericho! Chris might make quick work of these youngsters.
BM: Think again, Haas connects with a superkick.
TR Jericho is down and Haas is looking to capitalize.
BM: Haas dumps Cody Rhodes to the outside of the ring.
BM: He hit the ground with quite a thud.
TR: Haas is sizing Jericho up.
TR: Great suplex! I told you this guy was technically-sound.
BM: You weren't lying, Rocky. Haas now launching himself into the ropes.
BM: And charging toward Jericho...
TR:Back body drop!
BM: Haas goes over the top rope and comes crashing down onto Cody Rhodes!
TR: Jericho is a veteran and has such ring awareness.
BM: Y2J spring-boarding off the ropes...
TR: He's soaring through the air!
TR: And delivers a daring cross body!
BM: Jericho is pulling out all the stops and putting on an amazing show for all in attendance.
TR: Like the guy or not, you've got to give him his credit.
BM: Oh !
*Headphone muffles*
TR: The action is right in front of us now!
BM: Jericho turned his attention to Haas, but Haas countered with a huge German suplex into our announce table!
TR: Now Haas is on the attack as he throws Jericho back into the ring.
BM: He goes for the cover.
R: 1...2...
TR: Jericho kicks out!
BM: Cody is back on his feet and he just pulled Haas out of the ring.
TR: Oh, man! Cody just sent Haas flying headfirst into those steel steps.
BM: Haas hasn't moved an inch since his head collided with the steps.
BM: Thus far, Cody Rhodes has kept his promise. He has taken every opportunity from knocking Jericho off the apron to removing Haas from the equation.
TR: Now he's going for a backdrop.
TR: But Jericho reverses with a crossbody.
R: 1...2...
BM: Cody kicks out just in time.
TR: The Lion Heart is stalking his prey.
BM: Cody could be in for a world of hurt.
TR: Oh! You stand corrected, Musburger.
TR: It was Jericho who was in for a world of hurt. He just got those steel steps hurled at his head by that man.
BM: There is no way Jericho is conscious after taking a shot like that.
TR: Haas slides into the ring and is greeted by a big right hand.
BM: But Haas fights back and gives a left hook of his own.
TR: You can forget an open hand in this contest. There is no disqualification!
BM: Irish whip!
TR: Right into those unforgiving steel steps!
BM: Charlie Haas is in control of this contest now.
TR: And he dumps Jericho over the top rope...
TR: And to the outside of the ring like yesterday's trash.
BM: Cody Rhodes is still reeling from taking that bump into the stairs.
TR: Now Haas is on the hunt.
TR: Backdrop!
BM: No, Rhodes lands on his feet and on those steps.
TR: Front dropkick!
BM: But at a price. He landed back first on those steps.
TR: When flesh meets steel, steel wins.
BM: Jericho is back in the ring...
TR: Lionsault!
TR: Cody is kicking and screaming and writhing in pain.
BM: Jericho now drops Haas.
TR: This could be it! He's got him in the Walls of Jericho.
BM: I think Haas is going to tap!
TR: Cody clocks Jericho with the ring bell!
BM: Jericho might be out cold after taking a shot like that.
TR: Rhodes is sizing up Haas now.
BM: Big knee to the jaw.
BM: And what's this?...
BM: A big neck breaker on the steel steps!
TR: Cody calls that finisher the Cross Roads.
BM: This could be all she wrote
R: 1...2...
TR: How in the hell did Jericho find the energy to break that count up?!
BM: Jericho just saved his title reign for now.
TR: Cody can't believe it. He's got to be frustrated.
BM: He's picking Chris off of the canvas.
TR: Jericho breaks free!
TR: Code-breaker!
BM: Cody goes flying out of the ring!
TR: Behind you, Chris!
BM: Perfect chop-block by Haas.
TR: And he's got an ankle lock locked in tight!
BM: Is Jericho going to lose his championship by submission?
TR: Chris rolls out of it...
BM: He takes Haas down! What a reversal!
TR: Now Haas is in The Walls!
BM: This could be it...
TR: Can Charlie hold on?
R: Ring the bell! *bell rings*
BM: Haas taps!
*Chris Jericho's music plays*
TR: Jericho retained his championship. But not without putting up a fight.
MB: Here is your winner and STILL C2W World Champion, Chris Jericho!
BM: Say what you want about Chris Jericho. Yes, he's arrogant. Yes, he can be dirty at times, but he earned that title tonight.
TR: I don't think I've seen Jericho win anything fair and square in his life. I guess there's a first time for everything.
BM: The young bucks were unable to defeat the seasoned veteran tonight.
TR: True, but they sure gave him a run for his money.
BM: No doubt about that! Thank you so much for joining us folks! We'll see you next time on another installment of Crown Championship Wrestling television! Goodnight!
